The Inescapable Accretion of Less

A collection haiku written daily over the span of the year 2000 and selected poetry. Russ’ writing is personable, relatable, and often humorous. This is the third book I’ve worked on with Russ. Each features artwork by a different family member.

To go along with the theme of haiku, I selected the brushlike typeface Hiroshige, named after the legendary ukiyo-e artist. Also, the tittles (dots on the lowercase i’s and j’s) are diamond-shaped echoing the form of the cover artwork.
